Project Description

The area adjacent to the existing airport access currently creates dust and drainage issues from the unsealed areas. The roadway is currently used as an informal car park for on-street parking, however is not currently wide enough, with parked vehicles often extending into the road carriageway creating a safety hazard.

Widening of the road/seal including linemarking to delineate the on-street parking bays. Concrete kerb and channel (layback) or a concrete invert drain will be required to support the edge of seal. This will reduce dust, improve safety by defining the on-street parking arrangements and improve drainage.
