Project DescriptionArapunya road is a significant beef road providing access to 5 large cattle stations and several small indigenous communities. The road is also well used by mining exploration crews. Arapunya road is part of the Binns Track providing a 4WD experience for tourism. The road is currently experiencing very dry conditions, with high road train usage for cattle transport. This heavy vehicle traffic has caused numerous sections of road to deteriorate into deep sand and bulldust.
Reform and gravel resheet section between 54 to 72 kilometres. |
