Project DescriptionFlexible road pavement is in poor condition and has failed for approximately 60% of the roads length; it has extensive cracking rutting and heaving failures. Kerb & channel is greater than 75% disjointed and requires replacing. Drainage improvements and traffic management works will be incorporated into this project.
Works involve road reconstruction and shared path construction, and consist of:
• 9200m² of excavation for road pavement, shared path, footpaths and vehicle crossings,
• 4750m² of asphalt pavement construction,
• 4750m² of asphalt wearing course,
• 1380m of concrete kerb & channel,
• 930m² concrete footpath paving,
• 200m² concrete vehicle crossings,
• 2000m² concrete shared path,
• 260m of drainage 225mm to 525mm Dia. Pipes
• associated drainage pits
Total cost of proposed project is $1,167,063 |
