Ocean Road currently has cracking, pavement failures, severe pavement depressions, poor road geometry and stormwater management practices.
The work proposed will include reconstruction of two 3.5 metre wide lanes with a widened carriageway width of 11 metres. Works also include stormwater kerb and channel improvements, slip lanes to safely enter and exit the new aquatic centre facility, footway on eastern side, junction upgrade, and street lighting upgrade.
Total cost of proposed project is $3,500,000
