Project Descriptionextensively deteriorated bituminous surface, poor drainage, extensively damaged culvert and Reinforced Concrete slab. This road is used by the community and Royal Flying Doctor Services to access the airport. it will also meet the future demands by a demographic changes that may increase the population and associated demands
With the road - removal of unsuitable material then forming and stabilising the road surface with imported gravel and providing a bituminous seal. road width is 6.0 metres
Culvert Crossing - removal of existing damaged sections of the structure and replacing with new precast culverts, in-situ formation of base slab, top slab and Reinforced Concrete aprons. crossing reinforced concrete slab 20 metres in lengthj and 6.10 metres in width. |
