Existing carriageway is in part an unsealed gravel road. Between Ch 21.4 and Ch 23.9 (km) there is a sealed section. Council has a program in place to gradually extend the bitumen seal to properties within the Barcaldine Regional Council area allowing all weather access.
Reconstruction of gravel section of road to an 8m standard to a pavement depth of 200mm. Prime and seal the reconstructed pavement to a width of 6m.
Total cost of proposed project is $825,000
