Project Description

Road pavement suffers from lack of effective drainage which is compromising the road condition. This is resulting in various surface defects which can become driver safety issues.

Reconstruction of kerb and channel, and drainage along the full length of Violet Street, in order to preserve the road pavement. Construction of a drainage retention system at the low point of Violet Street to cater for high intensity rainfall events and to protect the road pavement. An asphalt overlay will be completed on the road surface to improve driver safety.
