Currently Yuendumu CDB facing traffic management issues due to no proper parking spaces to stores & school. Also no footpath for safe pedestrian movements. There are intersections which are not up to current Australian standards. Further, storm water drainage issue around the store.
Topographical survey of the project area, preliminary & detailed design of infrastructure, upgrade intersections, Construct parking bays & bus bay, pedestrian crossings, footpaths, traffic calming devices. Cleaning and reinstate the existing drainage paths, construct a new floodway, and reinstate existing floodway.
Total cost of proposed project is $455,000
