The timber girders which support the 10m long asphalt running surface are in poor condition due to their age, water damage and some infestation from white ants.
Proposed works include the removal of the existing timber girders and asphalt deck surface and replace with reinforced concrete box culverts and undertake some roadway approach works.
Total cost of proposed project is $876,412
