Lamington Bridge is a low level timber bridge on Christmas Creek Road which has reached the end of its useful life and requires replacement. The bridge approaches will also need to be reconstructed to suit the new bridge structure and location and will provide a higher standard of approach to the bridge structure.
Reconstruction of bridge approaches to tie into the new bridge structure on the new more suitable alignment. This will improve the approach standard and together with the new bridge structure will result in a safer situation. This will require relevant earthworks, pavement relocation, widening, sealing, line marking and signage upgrades.
Total cost of proposed project is $1,040,000
