The existing pavement is currently badly potholed, surface aged, stripped and drainage requires attention.
The project scope includes the rehabilitation of the subject section of road over a length of 630 m and average width of 9.2 m. This project will also include bicycle lanes, pedestrian pathway links and improvements, traffic safety initiatives, fauna underpasses and the provision of street tree planting to improve visual amenity and to provide shade. The project objective is to renew the pavement to improve safety and achieve the required level of service.
Total cost of proposed project is $1,461,373
