Project Description

The kerb and water table on both sides of Braemar Road are displaced both vertically and horizontally due to soil movement and tree growth. The road pavement is significantly deformed due to the reactive sub-grades in the area. Braemar Road is classified as a Local road in a residential area with a vehicle traffic volume of 300 to 550 vehicles per day.

It is proposed to replace all of the kerbing on both sides of Braemar Road. The kerb replacement will be followed by the removal of the road seal and pavement. The road will be replaced with a deep lift Asphalt pavement followed with 40mm Asphalt seal. The project is in conjunction with Parkers Road and Kays Road
