Project Description

The kerb and water table on both sides of Parkers Road are in poor condition due to environmental factors and their age. The road pavement is deformed resulting in poor ride ability. The road seal is a 21 year old spray sealed surface which has significant stone loss. Parkers Road is 325 meters in length and is classified as a “Local” road with a vehicle traffic volume of less than 100 vehicles per day

It is proposed to replace all of the kerbing on both sides of Parkers Road. The kerb replacement will be followed by the removal of the road seal and pavement. The road will be replaced with a deep lift Asphalt pavement followed with 40mm Asphalt seal. The project is in conjunction with Braemar Road and Kays Road
