Project Description

Kays Road has old kerbing in very poor condition. The road surface is also very old, estimated to have been constructed in the late 1960’s.The intersection of Kays Road with Braemar Road and Kays Road is very wide and open attracting high entry and exit speeds.

It is proposed to replace the kerbing on both sides of Kays Road as well as narrow the intersection with Parkers Road and Braemar Road. The kerb replacement will be followed by the removal of the road seal and pavement. The road will be replaced with a deep lift Asphalt pavement followed with 40mm Asphalt seal. The project is in conjunction with Braemar Road and Parkers Road
