Curricabark Road is a well utilized local road servicing rural residences and primary producers (mainly beef cattle). Approximately 100 vehicles per day traverse this road. The current gravel section is narrow (generally less than 5m), often very rough and slippery in the wet. The school bus utilizes this route.
Progressive widening and sealing of this road is slowly improving safety and amenity for all road users. It is proposed to extend the seal by a further 2.7km
