This project will deliver two east facing ramps on the M5 South West Motorway, adjustments to the existing eastbound exit ramp and adjustments to the Belmore Road bridge over the M5W.
The project is expected to:
- improve access to surrounding arterial roads and reduce travel times for local motorists using the M5 South West Motorway
- reduce congestion and increase capacity of the M5 Motorway
- provide improvements to traffic lights, noise reduction measures and landscaping
The Australian Government has committed $15 million to this project, with remaining funding from the NSW Government.
Construction commenced in May 2018 and is expected to be completed in early 2019.
