Complete a comprehensive road safety and traffic flow study to examine blind spots, traffic blockages and the bottleneck at the Cam River Bridge between Cooee and Wynyard.
This planning project is expected to lead to an improvement in the efficiency and safety of transport operations on the Bass Highway.
The Australian Government is fully funding this $500,000 project.
The project commenced in February 2018 and is expected to be completed by late 2018.
