Project Description

Flexible road pavement is in poor condition and has failed for approximately 60% of the roads length; it has extensive cracking rutting and heaving failures and asphalt re-sheet is required. Footpath is greater than 75% disjointed and requires replacing and major drainage upgrade is needed.

Works involve the construction of 500 metres of street pipe drainage and associated pits, asphalt resheeting of road pavement, replacement of footpaths and reinstatement of nature strips. The works consist of approximately: • 2836m² of excavation of streetscape to boxing levels for proposed • 4710m² of 35mm depth asphalt wearing course • 1120m² of 50mm depth asphalt and crushed rock base courses • 84m of concrete kerb & channel type BK1 pipe • 1280 m² of 75mm depth concrete footpath • 423 m² of 125mm depth concrete footpath • 96m of 300mm dia concrete drainage pipe • 83m of 375mm dia concrete drainage pipe • 50m of 450mm dia concrete drainage pipe • 142m of 525mm dia concrete drainage pipe • 111m of 600mm dia concrete drainage pipe • 161m of 675mm dia concrete drainage pipe • Drainage pits • Associated works

Total cost of proposed project is $631,495
