Problems being addressed are the poor roadside drainage, rutting and shifting of the road surface and the loss of gravel surface which contributes to the poor wearing surface.
Works proposed to be undertaken for this project is to seal 1350m of the road, which will seal a steep grade on this section of road. This will involve drainage improvements and importing, spreading, shaping and compacting gravel and applying a bituminous seal to the 1350m of newly formed road pavement.
Total cost of proposed project is $400,000
