Project Description

This section of the Woodleigh-Byro Road is narrow and low from years of dry grading. The lack of correct camber and drainage allow the water from rain events to flow down the middle of the road creating dangerous ruts for the road users in this section.

Batters will be re-cut and widened to allow for a 9 metre running surface. Sub-base will be lifted and shaped with the correct camber with longatudinal and offshoot drain installlation to facilitate correct water flow in rain events. Material will be imported to sheet the sub-base to provide a suitable running surface. Installation of guide posts and signs to deliniate corners.
