The existing road pavement exhibits areas of roughness, cracking and loss of shape. In addition significant lengths of concrete kerbing is in a poor condition.
The project includes the following major aspects: • Rehabilitation of 373 metres of existing road pavement and resurfacing with asphalt • Reconstruction of 739 metres of existing kerb and channel • Construction of 3 traffic islands and 1 road hump • Reconstruction of existing vehicle crossings where required • Reconstruction of all damaged footpath • Construction of 252 metres of underground drainage works
Total cost of proposed project is $725,087
