Project Description

The project will involve the construction of a dual lane roundabout at the intersection of Phillip Island Road and Woolamai Beach Road on Phillip Island in Victoria.  The project is part of an inital stage to improve the road safety and operational performance of Phillip Island Road into the future.


The project is expected to provide benefits across multiple road user groups including freight, pedestrians, cyclists, public transport and general traffic use, and support economic growth in the region.


The estimated cost of the project is $7 million.  The Australian and Victorian governments are each contributing $3,500,000.


The project is expected to commence in mid-2019 and be completed in late 2020.
