Project Description

The surface of Piambra Road in the proposed work location is unsealed and does not have sufficient road base, which results in potholes and ruts, which reduces the speed at which vehicles may travel along the road. Furthermore, the existing surface becomes slippery during and after rainfall

Constructing a road base over the existing alignment by adding up 300mm of compacted road base material, to a width of 8.0m. Bitumen sealing the surface to a width of 6.0m. Total length of works 1.4km.
