Project Description

The project involves planning works to identify the optimum solution and preserve a corridor for the future construction of a deviation of Ayr, Brandon and Home Hill to avoid the safety, flooding, amenity, capacity and travel time impacts through these three towns.


Improved capacity, efficiency, flood immunity and safety.


The Australian Government has committed $38.4 million towards the project in partnership with the Queensland Government.


Start and end dates to be confirmed with the Queensland Government.
