Project Description

The project will involve construction of a carriageway and drainage structures with a higher flood immunity for 5 kilometres of highway.

Funding

The Australian Government has committed up to $18.4 million towards the project in partnership with the Queensland Government.

Timetable

Planning commenced in late 2021. Construction commenced in mid 2022 and is expected to be completed in mid 2023, weather permitting.
