Project Description

The installation of additional drainage structures under the highway to improve the highway's flood immunity and avoid flood.


Improved flood immunity and safety.


The Australian Government has committed up to $8.8 million towards the project in partnership with the Queensland Government.


Planning is expected to commence in late 2021 and be completed in late 2022, weather permitting.
