The Youngs Crossing Road transport corridor is a critical link in the South East Queensland road network that currently experiences significant flood and congestion safety challenges. This project will upgrade Youngs Crossing Road at the North Pine River, including upgrades to the existing road and construction of a new bridge over the river. These works will improve flood immunity, safety and road capacity.

This includes $25.0 million of additional funding provided in 2021-22 Budget

This project is expected to start construction in mid 2022 and be finished construction by early 2024.
