The project will upgrade the Gympie Arterial Road in north Brisbane. This road serves as a major corridor for the southern end of the Bruce Highway and northern suburbs of Brisbane into the CBD.
The project is expected to improve accessibility, connectivity and productivity, whilst also improving safety, travel times, and network reliability.
The Australian Government is contributing $50 million towards the project.
The delivery schedule will be determined in consultation with the Queensland State Government.
