Project DescriptionThe project will upgrade Exit 41 and Exit 49 on the M1 Pacific Motorway, including duplicating the overpasses and upgrading two existing rounabouts to signalised intesections at both sites, implementing smart motorway technology on on and off ramps, and integrating shared active transport corridors. BenefitsThe project will improve accessibility, connectivity and productivity, safety and travel times, and improve network reliability. FundingThe Australian Government has committed $96.3 million to this project. TimetableConstruction commenced in October 2020 and is expected to be completed by late 2023. |
