This project will upgrade the intersection at Barbour Road and Norris Road in Bracken Ridge. This intersection experiences significant congestion in the peak morning and afternoon periods. In addition, Norris Road is a key road connecting the residents of Bracken Ridge to the Gympie Arterial Road, the local primary school, TAFE and local shops. The project will complement other projects in the Bracken Ridge area.
The project will improve accessibility, connectivity and productivity and improve safety and travel times.
The Australian Government is contributing $1.5 million towards the project.
The delivery schedule will be determined in consultation with Brisbane City Council.
