Project DescriptionThis project will upgrade the roundabout at the intersection of Barbour Road and Norris Road to a signalised intersection with controlled crossings for pedestrians and cyclists. Associated works include relocation of public transport facilities and related pedestrian pathways. BenefitsThe project will improve accessibility, connectivity and productivity and improve safety and travel times. FundingThe Australian Government has committed $1.5 million towards the project. TimetableThis project commenced construction in March 2021 and is expected to be completed by late 2021.
Construction reached Practical Completion in December 2021. |
