This project will upgrade priority sections of Hoyland Street in Bracken Ridge. The upgrades may include lane augmentation and safety improvements. Hoyland Street is a main feeder road onto the Gympie Arterial Road and experiences significant congestion in the peak morning and afternoon periods. This project will complement other road upgrades in the Bracken Ridge area.
The upgrade will improve accessibility, connectivity and productivity, improve safety and travel times and improve network reliability.
The Australian Government has committed $1 million towards the project
The delivery schedule will be determined in consultation with Brisbane City Council.
