Project DescriptionThis project involves the upgrade of Ballarto Road in Skye, in Melbourne's south east. BenefitsBallarto Road is an important road corridor that connects Frankston-Dandenong Road and Dandenong-Hastings Road. This road is a key arterial road that experiences significant congestion, particularly at a number of its intersections, including Potts road, Greenwood Drive and Dion Drive.
This upgrade is expected to reduce congestion, improve access and travel times and improve safety for all road users. FundingThe Australian Government contribution is capped at $30 million. TimetableThe delivery schedule will be determined as planning on the project progresses and in consultation with the proponent. |
