The project is expected to upgrade the Fitzsimons Lane and Main Road corridor in the Nillumbik Shire.
The upgrade is expected to complement existing investments in other parts of the road network. It is expected to reduce congestion, improve access, travel times and road safety.
The Australian Government is contributing $5 million.
The project is expected to commence construction in mid-2022 and be completed by mid-2023.
