Project Description

This project is expected to upgrade the McGregor Road interchange with the Pakenham Bypass in Pakenham.

McGregor Road is an arterial road providing a direct link between the Pakenham Bypass and the Princes Highway. The road is severely congested with traffic flow limited by the half diamond interchange at the Pakenham Bypass.

This project is expected to reduce congestion and travel times and improve travel time reliability, network connectivity and access. It is also expected to improve safety for all road users.

The Australian Government contribution is capped at $13 million.

The delivery schedule will be determined as planning on the project progresses and in consultation with the proponent.
