Project Description

The project will upgrade four intersections along the Princes Highway between Pakenham and Beaconsfield including O’Neil Road, Bayview Road, Tivendale Road and Glismann Road. 


The project will reduce congestion, travel times, improve reliability, access and safety along the corridor.


The Australian Government is contributing $21.55 million and the Cardinia Shire Council is contributing $9.5 million.


Construction commenced in September 2022 and is expected to be completed by early 2023.

Glismann Road completed construction in May 2021 and O'Neil Road completed construction in August 2021.

Construction at Bayview Road and Tiverndale Road is expected to commence in mid-2022.
