Project DescriptionThe project will upgrade approximately six kilometres of the M1 Pacific Motorway corridor between Daisy Hill and the Logan Motorway, and will include an increase to existing lanes, road strengthening and new motorway safety features. BenefitsThe project is expected to deliver:
- improved travel times
- increased connectivity
- improved freight productivity and access to key freight gateways
- fewer and lower severity accidents
FundingThe Australian Government has committed $500 million to this project. TimetableThe delivery schedule will be determined in consultation with the Queensland Government. |
