Project Description

The Project will produce a business case which will examine the feasibility of a transport solution along the North West Transport Corridor, connecting Brisbane with the Moreton Bay region.

Benefits

If constructed, this project is expected to improve:

  • road safety and reduce congestion for all road users along the North West Transport Corridor
  • accessibility, connectivity and travel times to northern Brisbane growth areas

Funding

The Australian Government is contributing $10 million towards the project.

Timetable

The development of this business case commenced in July 2020 and was completed in mid 2022.
