Project Description

This project will investigate options to acquire land along Melbourne’s Outer Metropolitan Ring and E6 Corridor to support the future construction of this proposed transport link.

The Outer Metropolitan Ring and E6 Corridor will ultimately accommodate a 100 kilometre long high-speed road and rail transport link in Melbourne’s north and west. Acquiring land as it becomes available will ensure its availability when construction is able to commence.

The Australian Government contribution is capped at $5 million.

The business case is expected to be finalised in mid-2021.
