Project DescriptionThe project will duplicate the existing 0.35 kilometre two-lane section of Brisbane Road from Mayes Canal Bridge to the intersection of Foote Street and Tarcoola Avenue. The project will also include the construction of a new bridge over Mayes Canal to accommodate four lanes. BenefitsThe project is expected to deliver the following benefits:

- Improved flood immunity
- Increased network and traffic capacity
FundingThe Australian Government has committed $12 million to this project. TimetableConstruction is expected to commence in early 2021, with completion expected in early 2022. |
