The project will construct a new road bridge crossing over the Murray River at Swan Hill.
This project is expected to improve freight efficiency, connectivity and travel time; improve access and safety for all road users.
The Australian Government is contributing $60 million to this project.
The delivery schedule will be determined as planning on the project progresses and in consultation with the Victorian and New South Wales Governments.
