The Tasman Highway Intelligent Transport Solutions upgrade will include targeted infrastructure modifications and replacement of the lane management system on the Tasman Bridge to provide more contemporary management of traffic.
Improve congestion and travel times for commuters travelling on the Tasman Bridge.
The Australian Government will contribute up to 50 per cent, capped at $10 million.
Construction is expected to commence in late 2020 and be completed by mid 2022.
