This project will upgrade targeted sections of Torbanlea Pialba Road between Torbanlea and Hervey Bay.
The project will:
- connect agricultural production regions to domestic and international markets
- improve linkages for road-based tourism
- improve connectivity between people with jobs and services
The Australian Government is contributing $24 million to this project.
Construction is expected to commence in early 2022, with completion expected in early 2023.
