Project Description

This project will upgrade the intersections at each end of Henderson Road with Kelletts Road in Rowville and Ferntree Gully Road in Knoxfield. The Kellets Road intersection will be signalised and both intersections will be reconfigured, including left and right turning slip lanes and additional through lanes, where required. This project will support the Henderson Road Bridge project which is currently under construction, funded by the Federal Government.


The project is expected to reduce congestion and travel time, and improve safety and efficiency for all road users.


The Australian Government contribution is capped at $9 million.


The delivery schedule will be determined as planning on the project progresses and in consultation with the proponent.
