Project DescriptionThe intersection at Great Eastern Highway and Old Northam Road in Wooroloo (7km east of the Sawyers Valley intersection) is right before a large bend which creates a blind spot. It is also a significant blind spot for commuters turning right into Great Eastern Highway from Old Northam Road.

The project will upgrade the intersection at Great Eastern Highway and Old Northam Road in Wooroloo and Sawyers Valley. BenefitsThe project will:
- Improve road safety for all road users
FundingThe Australian Government has committed $11.5 million towards the project. TimetableSawyers Valley section was completed in August 2020 and the Wooroloo section is expected to be complete in mid 2022. |
