Main Street is a local centre in the City of Stirling consisting of retail, office, commercial and residential spaces. The Main/Hutton/Royal Street intersection is an accident hotspot, which is confusing for cars and dangerous for pedestrians.
Traffic volumes are high along this intersection with a posted speed limit of 60km/h.
The project will upgrade the intersection between Main Street, Hutton Street and Royal Street in Osborne Park.
The project will:
- Improve road safety for all road users
- Improve motorist, pedestrian and cyclist safety
The Australian Government has committed $2 million towards the project.
The project is in planning.
