Project Description

Main Street is a local centre in the City of Stirling consisting of retail, office, commercial and residential spaces. The Main/Hutton/Royal Street intersection is an accident hotspot, which is confusing for cars and dangerous for pedestrians.

Traffic volumes are high along this intersection with a posted speed limit of 60km/h.

The project will upgrade the intersection between Main Street, Hutton Street and Royal Street in Osborne Park.

The project will:

  • Improve road safety for all road users
  • Improve motorist, pedestrian and cyclist safety

Funding

The Australian Government has committed $2 million towards the project.
