Project DescriptionThe project will upgrade the intersection at Wanneroo Road and Morley Drive, Balcatta to improve traffic flow, reduce congestion and minimise the risk of accidents occurring.
The Wanneroo Road - Morley Drive Intersection has been identified as the third worst intersection in the Perth metropolitan area for congestion and frequency of crashes. The intersection also has a high volume of public transport (bus) movements throughout the day, with peak period performance being impacted heavily by congestion. The project upgrade will alleviate traffic congestion as well as improving safety and accessibility for both roads users and pedestrians. Benefits
- Improved road safety for all road users
