Project Description

The project will deliver new and upgraded commuter car parking facilities at Craigieburn, Hurstbridge, Epping, Merlynston, Sunbury, Watergardens and Greensborough.


This project will support public transport usage and efficiency by improving park and ride facilities at these locations.


The Australian Government is contributing $70 million and the Victorian Government is contributing $70 million.


Construction commenced on sites under the Northern Lines in early 2020. Hurstbridge completed construction in November 2020, Epping completed construction in April 2021 and Craigieburn completed construction in July 2021.

Upgrades at Merlynston and Watergardens are expected to commence construction in late 2021, and construction at Greensborough and Sunbury is expected to commence in 2022.
