Project Description

The project will deliver new and upgraded commuter car parking facilities at Craigieburn, Hurstbridge, Epping, Merlynston, Sunbury, Watergardens and Greensborough.

Benefits

This project will support public transport usage and efficiency by improving park and ride facilities at these locations.

Funding

The Australian and Victorian Governments are each contributing $70 million to the project.

Timetable

Construction commenced in early 2020. Hurstbridge completed construction in November 2020, Epping completed construction in April 2021 and Craigieburn completed construction in July 2021.

Upgrades at Merlynston and Watergardens are currently under construction.

Upgrades at Greensborough and Sunbury are expected to commence in late 2022.
