Project Description

This project has improved pedestrian safety on Frankston-Flinders Road in Balnarring through the installation of pedestrian operated signals, zebra crossing across Service Lane and speed reduction within the township area.

Benefits

The upgrade of Frankston-Flinders Road in Balnarring is expected to improve pedestrian safety with the installation of signals and refuges.

Funding

The Australian Government contribution is capped at $1 million.

Timetable

Construction commenced in September 2021 and was completed in December 2021.
