This project will remove the level crossing of the Glen Waverley Line at Glenferrie Road in Kooyong.
This project is expected to deliver the following benefits:
- Improved efficiency of the wider metropolitan transport network.
- Reduced local congestion and delays.
- Improved community connectivity and access to services.
- Improved safety for all road and rail users.
The project will be fully funded by the Australian Government through the Urban Congestion Fund.
A Business Case being developed to investigate options is expected to be completed in early 2021.
