Project Description

This project is undertaking a feasibility study to examine options for the removal of the level crossing of the Glen Waverley Line at Tooronga Road in Tooronga.


This project is expected to support improved efficiency of the wider metropolitan transport network, reduced local congestion and delays, improved community connectivity and access to services, and improved safety for all road and rail users.


The Australian Government is contributing $5 million to the project.


The project commenced in mid-2020 and is expected to be completed by mid-2022.
